Pros

The customers and coworkers were easy to handle and the work was easy enough, when a customer came through you greeted them and checked them out and otherwise you cleaned or sorted the store.

Cons

The work doesn't pay well, especially since they won't give you proper hours. Towards the end of my time there I was getting maybe 4-5 hours every two weeks. It didn't sound much better for the supervisors, it sounded like a lot of them were either working under 20 hours or well over 40. They'll also just up and abandon you without warning, that's what they did to me, they never even fired me, they just kinda stopped putting me on the schedule. Even if they don't abandon you, while the work isn't *difficult*, it is draining. If the store is slow you'll swear that the seconds turned into minutes and if the store is busy you'll feel your soul slipping from your fingers. Maybe you'll get treated better if you have some experience or aren't a seasonal hire, but the manager also told me that they'd never let go of a seasonal before, so you know.
