Loved my co-workers and customers. Good sales.

Cons

Ad changes three or four times a week. No training budget, LOTS of turnover at home office caused changes in business strategies and philosophy. Low pay. Poor quality merchandise. Technology is at least five years behind the industry. Ridiculously low payroll, and sales goals are absurd. Lack of payroll for hourly employees caused managers to work 55 to 60 hours a week. No work/life balance. Old building was falling apart.

Pros

The only pros is if your a customer. Customers have it made. Bealls has three fitting rooms without an item limit. They can bring three carts in and leave it in there for the employees to clean up after them.

Cons

Horrible management, from the managers to the way they system things. The company complains that they loose out on a lot of money, but they do nothing about it. Customers are allowed to enter the fitting room without an item limit. Therefore we help make it easier for them to steal. Bealls has a lot of cameras and security watching them.... but that doesn't guarantee anything. Security has to keep watch of 8 fitting rooms in total. 1 out of every 20 customers that steal get caught. Also managers don't do anything but hide in their offices.
