Pros
1.The people. I absolutely loved the people I worked with. It is a very teamwork oriented company. Projects are encouraged to be done in groups, so there is a lot of comraderrie among the staff and management. Great friendships are made there. 2.Employee programs. They have gift card giveaways every month for employee incentives. 3.Great discounts. 20% plus special coupons and such. 4.Ethics. They care about this and talk about it all the time.
Cons
1.Salary is very low and non competitive. 2.Hours are ridiculous, especially at Christmas time. They really force their people to work 60-70 hours a week without blinking. 3.Work life balance is poor because you're always working. And the company might decide to stay open all night long on a whim and change your entire schedule in a day. 4.They mainly hire from the outside for store manager positions and do not promote from within very often. I saw one person the whole time I was there promoted to store manager. 5. Upper management. They were always talking about fresh and new talent and had no respect for the hardworking tenured people that worked daily in the stores.
