Pros

Unlimited PTO, upgraded website, marketing materials, software, and equipment.

Cons

The acquisition was very abrupt and poorly executed, which resulted in high turnover. There was no marketing effort to announce Beazer Homes to the Realtor community.

Pros

Fantastic benefits. Transparency with entire company from CEO. Wonderful charitable commitments and activities that are more than just PR or lip service. Care for "doing the right thing" that is unmatched among other public builders.

Cons

Corporate HR/cultural enforcement is overbearing. They aren't content with employees just doing a great job and working their behinds off -- Pressure to be part of "the club,' read and be able to quote all the recommended books, listen to the recommended podcasts... pretty exhausting. "Face time" in the office is seen as a goal in itself at the cost of work-life balance and productivity towards actual objectives of your position. Many meetings that should be an email.
