Pros

Used to be a GREAT company to work for until about 2009/2010 or so. Phoenix office is a horrid scene, Las Vegas was WAY better.

Cons

The Phoenix office is full of backstabbing, egomaniacs and the only thing they care about is their bonus. It's certainly not how well they build a home. Las Vegas office is a complete 180 of this.

Pros

Beazer has no culture or employee engagement so the company is taking steps to change that. They just started to have company gatherings in 2017 including a charity initiative...most companies already have this in place. There is excitement in the air because of it but it will be interesting to see how this plays out in the long run. Some would say this is how Beazer is but do you really want to be on a team of self-absorbed people? This is Corporate. Divisions have a much different environment and morale but again depends on which one. Some people really do get lucky with who they work with! Trust your gut but I would pass on working here unless 2 years or so is ok. PTO is good but it’s all grouped into one (sick days, personal days, etc.)

Cons

Worked on some great projects (with aggressive hours yet solid projects) but worked under someone who had very little management training, was aggressive and basically fakes the funk. She was late almost every day even to meetings and provided no input or encouragement. If they feel like you are in tune to the cover up or challenge these so called directors approaches you will be talked down to until you leave or are terminated. HR is just as in the dark to really diagnose the real morale issues.

Pros

None unless you enjoy working for free

Cons

I was the 8th or 9th agent on a community in N. Las Vegas, they never paid me for 8 homes I sold, which were never started............then they quit paying draw against commission, therefore you work for free, no wonder 7 agents quit before I was unfortunate enough to accept the position.
