There is a strong "ageist" element to Bechtel culture where perceived age outweighs experience and performance. As a younger person in the organisation it can feel like you are wasting your time. Management culture- poor performers neither coached nor punished but instead moved to a new area. Poor management foresight - short to medium term thinking seems to dominate.
