Cons
The poster that commented on being paid more if you come in from the outside hit the nail on the head. It is hard to see someone hired a month ago came in at a higher level and paycheck than you. Reviews are a joke and you are lucky if you and your manager actually put them down on paper and discuss them throughout the year to see if you are meeting them. It just becomes a game of guess what raise/bonus you will get (if you get either) and don't question whatever happens because you will not get a straight answer.
