Pros

Despite all the chaos in the world, Beeline is an oasis. Do we have crazy days and client emergencies and meetings we'd rather not have? Of course-that's just the corporate world. But if I have to experience those downsides of corporate life, I'm glad I'm doing it with these people. Beeline is a family. We squabble, we compromise, we prank each other, but in the end, we've got each other's backs. I trust my teammates implicitly. If I need them (for work or even an outside of work issue), I know I can count on them. I feel like leadership is doing a good job trying to be transparent with what is happening and where they think we're going. The truth is, the world is unpredictable right now in general, and I have no complaints about the information we're being given. I am grateful they've allowed continued working from home during the pandemic and there has been zero effort to push anyone out of their comfort zones. I have also seen real effort this year, even before COVID-19, to let go of egos, attack processes that weren't working and reengineer them, and to support and be open to feedback.

Cons

The pandemic impacted our bottom line, and ultimately bonuses and salaries. But I'd prefer to accept a small pay cut than a furlough or layoff. I appreciate Doug and team fighting to keep everyone employed by any means necessary. We sure do seem to have more than enough work to do. On that note, work/life balance isn't really a thing. Work blurred into life is more like it, esp being at home. I feel like I'm taking calls and meetings earlier AND later than ever before, although i do feel empowered to decline if I really have to.

Such a thoughtful, detailed and appreciated review - thank you very, very much! Extremely well said - on all fronts. This is such a challenging time we're all in right now, and we're constantly looking to take the best approach for all, so we really value your sentiments around how things are being managed through the pandemic. Just don't forget the genuine need to allow time for yourself through this period (especially!) - it's just as important as ever. Thank you again!

Pros

In more than 40 years, I've never worked in a company with a better combination of talent and teamwork. The result is a company that punches way above its weight in delivering innovative technology quickly and reliably. The best part, though, is a pervasive attitude best expressed as, "Our clients depend on us, and we won't let them fail." This creates a culture where people pitch in wherever and whenever they are needed. No one says, "It's not my job." Client service, in whatever form, is everyone's job. And everyone takes it seriously.

Cons

Very lean staffing means that everyone carries as much responsibility as they can handle -- and, occasionally, a bit more.

Very well said! We definitely live the notion that 'Everyone who isn't you, is a customer', and it applies universally. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

Pros

The biggest pro for me is the environment and the sense of family. It took some getting use to when I first started employment at Beeline. I came from a place that had a very poor morale and the employees were not treated well. It made me realize just had bad things were at that place once I saw how well everyone was treated at Beeline. The people are friendly and I have nothing but good experiences with the management that I have interacted with. Everyone on my team are amazing individuals and we work extremely well together. This is the first company that I have worked for where I have had several conversations with the CEO and have witnessed how well liked he is throughout the company. Even during this hard time we are currently facing with the global pandemic and the turmoil going on within our country you can still see that Doug is doing everything he can to keep this family whole. I think it is a wonderful company to work for and look forward to many years to come. Leaving my previous employer to join the Beeline family was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Cons

I have yet to find a con.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're so glad that you're enjoying the experience with us, especially around our sense of 'family', how we treat others - and our overall culture. We're happy you made that decision - may there be many more great years ahead!
