Pros

Flexible schedule good for students

Cons

Does not pay a livable wage. You are expected to come to a job that pays only 10-15 hrs per week with a car and auto insurance. It’s only feasible if you are heavily subsidized by financial aid or living with parents.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Our clinical and operational teams work to create caseloads that match the availability of behavior technicians. Team members start part-time and can request additional hours, gradually increasing their caseload, as their availability permits. In some cases, positions at a clinic center can accommodate full-time availability. Technicians are encouraged to contact their client service coordinators to adjust availability and requested hours. The goal of our operational and clinical teams is to collaborate and find a schedule that works for behavior technicians and clients. We recognize the meaningful impact our behavior technicians have on families, and we’re committed to supporting professional growth while continuing to explore initiatives that expand opportunities, provide additional training, and promote long-term career development within our team. Your commitment to our families is appreciated, and we encourage you to contact your service coordinator or submit our weekly check-in form to help you meet your desired hours.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We strive to maintain a welcoming environment where our team has access to all the resources needed to succeed and grow in the field. Behavior technicians also have access to support from our operational teams, including our client service department, which can assist with caseload adjustments and fill-in sessions to make up for any missed hours. Hours and scheduling are a challenge seen across the industry, and our operational and clinical teams work to ensure we can provide timely solutions for families and our BTs. We encourage you to contact your service coordinator or reply to our weekly check-ins so we may help you reach your desired schedule. Your feedback is appreciated, and we look forward to helping you grow with our team.
