Pros

the pay is decent and the training was ok

Cons

the hours are very inconsistent, most of th options for clients are in home so if you don’t favor going into people’s houses there wont be much work for you, the training was okay but i definently didn’t feel ready coming into it. And it can overall just be tough on pay its just not consistent

Thank you for taking the time to complete your review. We're glad to hear that you'd recommend working for Behavior Interventions for the reasons you listed and want to take a moment to address the other issues you've mentioned. Mental health is an important subject for all employees right now. BII provides support in a variety of ways. For Clinical employees, creating the team structure in each treatment center is really important. It provides each technician with a dedicated team to which they can reach out for support, in addition to their BCBA supervisor(s). Technicians are encouraged to attend monthly RBT meetings in person to connect with colleagues and treatment center teams, and to use the employee resources in the treatment centers at any time. Additionally, techs are encouraged to reach out to supervisors for support and/or individual meetings in addition to their monthly meetings. BII's health insurance includes mental health resources and services, and employees can call BII's insurance broker at any time to get information and support for accessing services. The employee Wellness Committee provides resources, tools and awareness around mental health. We hope that you will take advantage of some of what's offered as we do appreciate our technicians and the services they bring to our families.
