Pros

Flexible hours, wonderful clients, friendly RBT team

Cons

Gossiping management, labor intensive for very low salary, no guaranteed hours for client cancellation, the set-up minimizes parent interaction which has a negative effect on treatment and child wellbeing

Pros

Full time benefits are nice -dental benefits -medical benefits -401k Working with kids is great and seeing their improvement make the job worthwhile! Having a consistent schedule (mostly) and being able to accrue PTO is also great

Cons

-the kids are great but sometimes you get beat up. -I feel like you need to have a lot of patience to work here and not because of the clients but because the supervisors have not the best communication skills 😬 I will have my schedule set up for the month and then randomly be taken off the schedule or I’ll be driving to work and I get a call saying I don’t have to work. So I have to use my PTO hours to make up for the random off days. -another CON is getting sick every 2 weeks. Mostly because the company does not have a good sick patient/worker protocol. The kids could be having a fever of 100+ and the parents could pick them up (or not) and instead of letting the kids rest they bring back their sick child with a fever back to the clinic the next day. Then the other kids and workers get sick and we have an unbalance of therapist to kids or vice versa. So yeah if you don’t mind getting sick every other week then you’re fine
