Pros

- The kids were very rewarding to work with, especially when you could make a breakthrough - Coworkers were friendly - Flexible hours -You can wear comfortable clothing at work

Cons

- Extremely low pay considering the quality of work needed/amount of paperwork required. - Pay was not very reliable; if a client was sick/out on vacation/at a medical appointment and you aren't needed to be there, you just don't get paid that day - Some of the management was hard to work with; very critical of therapists and not very friendly - Very poor benefits; when the kids have are on break, you just don't get paid for that time unless you use your few paid days off - You are essentially required to get your RBT certification in order to work with enough kids to get full time hours, and they make you pay a portion of the cost to get the certification -You are hired as a therapist but you do the job of the janitor and administrator as well
