      Pros

      The people and the relationships among the teams make Belk a great place to come to work. It's like a close knit family!

      Cons

      Not enough movement/opportunity to grow - move up in career. Wish I had more time to do my job really well since I love doing it! Work continued to increase tri-fold but no more head count added on to an already really lean staff. Deadlines continued to shorten even though work load kept tripling. Output: Quantity vs quality.

      Great team. Decent Salary. Good place to gain skills for another career in retail.

      Cons

      Belk will work you until you die....You never have enough staff to run the business effectively, the workload is outrageous. You will never get ahead. Every day is a complete disaster! Some days you will never even get to your own department...Really??
