      Pros

      The associates in the store work very hard and try to give the best customer service. Benefits are good, and HR is helpful. The company works with your schedule and tries to make it a family environment. Great customers.

      Cons

      Management in the store only cares about certain employees. If you do not get Belk credit, you are not valued. Rude managers are allowed to treat employees however they want even through intimidation and bullying. Store management does nothing about it. It is terrible to see good employees being treated badly. Low pay and high expectations.

      Pros

      employee discount, Flex days during the summer, flexibility of schedule, company supports a lot of charities, is in process of implementing work from home but management is already finding excuses for certain associates to not be able to participate.

      Cons

      yearly raises are a joke and that is if you get one. you no longer get a raise for doing your job, it now is having to go above and beyond for your supervisor to be able to justify giving you a raise. No advancement available for associates without 4yr degree but has years of service with the company.
