      Pros

      Great discounts. Meet people from all over the country. Able to develop a "clientele" with the locals.

      Cons

      Not enough employees! Can feel overwhelmed with all the go backs. Computer systems need to be updated.

      Pros

      Great benefits, mostly great management, and a lot of promoting from within. Belk really does a great job growing their associates!

      Cons

      Managers are overworked and underpaid. High expectations with little to no rewards for management. The scheduling system for associates is flawed.

      Benefits, job security,company growing and making positive changes.

      Cons

      Budget constraints that continue to minimize amount of associates available to help customers. Training is quick and not detailed enough for most associates. Previous experience helps fill the gap in training.
