      Exciting work environment Good benefits- 2 weeks vacation, 1 birthday holiday, 2 personal days and chance to receive 2 additional vacation days through perfect attendance Some work-life scheduling flexibility

      Pros

      The people you work with are usually nice.

      Cons

      Cashiers are on a pay for performance hourly rate. If you don't meet your sales goals for the year, your pay can get reduced. They expect you to work all hours of the day and almost every holiday. When you finally get off for a holiday, you still have to be there the next day at the crack of dawn.

      Pros

      discount, the associates I was able to hire on my own.

      Cons

      Very political. Upper management and Regional VPs don't care about anything but Instant Credits. If they don't like you, you're out of luck. If you're a terrible manager but they like you, then you will get ahead. No "thank you" EVER. As an ASM I had to cut associates pay who were dependable and would actually work, but gave raises to those that had terrible attendance(who we couldn't fire even though they have been written up over 10 times) and stood at the register. Hard workers were taken advantage of.
