      Pros

      Very good benefits over all.. Opportunity for promotion is there if you work for it. Great people to work with.

      Cons

      Raises are hard to come by sometimes, regardless of your work ethic. Sometimes you have to wait on promotion, because the doors don't always open.

      Coworkers are usually friendly, the discount is nice

      Cons

      Biased and egotistical management, no chance for pay raises due to "pay for performance" scale, management pushes (and sometimes threatens) associates to get credit applications from customers, WAY too many tasks for associate to complete, management is unwilling to assist associates. Also there is literally NO WAY to contact Tim Belk in order to report abuse from management or to complain about the work conditions. Inconsistant hours are a big problem...one week you may have 40 the next week you'll have 10. There is no chance of advancement with this company. If I could have found another job, i'd be gone already.

      I enjoy the line that I sell and my co-workers

      Pay is terrible and you never get a raise that won't eventually be taken away at the next review, Commission is terrible, most managers have a terrible attitude.
