      Pros

      Good discount, always a sale, the old Belk associates are very loyal.

      Cons

      Since the Belk family sold the company to Sycamore Partners there have been massive lay offs, the family feeling is gone and no one is protected. It's only about the bottom line and the people don't count any more which is not how the Belk family ran the company. The future of the company is in jeopardy, focus is on millennials but that is not who the customer is. The workload is unbarely with no support.

      Pros

      Used to be a good company to work for but it is no longer. The double employee discounts are the only good thing remaining.

      Cons

      Pay cuts. If they give raises at all it is miniscule. Maybe 20 cents. They are cutting benefits, hours, pay. They require 3 week notice for a day off. However they can change your schedule without notification. This used to be a good company to work for. No longer.

      Pros

      Coworkers were great. Facility is getting a facelift at corp office. I am not sure what else to say. What if I don't have 20 words?

      Cons

      Employees are not cared about anymore. Lied to our faces in Feb 2017. We are done!! We are done!! And never stopped laying off people. Still happening now.
