Pros

Pay is decent and great job for older people.

Cons

Management is terrible, they care nothing about you. They didn't even pay their employees during the time missed at work due to a hurricane. Company is going downhill in ethics and values.

One of The Worst Jobs I've Ever Had!

Pros

The pay is fairly competitive and the employee discount is generous.

Cons

The Belk family no longer run the company and that has been the downfall. The new owners care nothing about the employees and are only interested in cutting jobs so they can show a profit in order to resell the company again. Everyone is in fear of losing their job because they have made it known more cuts are coming in January. They have also cut the amount of paid time off. I don't recommend working for Belk at all.
