Pros

if you have to, do it for a short time, and hopefully your co-workers will be nice.

Cons

constant cutting of hours, threatening culture, no exception rule of having to meet sales and credit goals or the bullying culture starts, top down threatening corporate culture, talking down to employees like they are in kindergarten, no raises ever again, only pay by performance, new policies like rock the dock which make department organization worse, constant turnover from unhappy and mistreated employees. managers that spend time in office writing daily notes on what you need to do that could be talked about in 2 minutes, a waste of a position, horrible management/employee relations. EXCEL LINE that does no good. Unless you are sexually or racially discriminated against, forget hoping that the bullying stops. It won't, until it becomes a law.

It’s a Joke

Pros

Sometimes you get to enjoy free parties at corporate.

Cons

ZERO work-life balance. Senior marketing management came from failing company and seem to not have a clue what they’re doing. Everything is last minute and such a disorganized mess. Management stays in meetings all day then expect you to stay late to make changes because they don’t know to to communicate via email or using work tools. When the company was bought out they lost touch of the mission and values and now they just dictate and want to make money. It became another political management party that’s trying to figure it out as they go but still make themselves look good with complete disregard for their employees lives, growth, or well-being. The marketing team put too many unqualified people brought in from the failing company into management because they’re “buddies”. Everyone is driven by fear of being in trouble or being reprimanded rather than having a supportive management team that listens and tries to help people grow and develop. No trust at all. It’s a broken system.

Pros

Great people at the lower levels, great PTO policy, medical is okay

Cons

No longer value employees, focusing on things the customer doesn't care about, no position is safe as there is constant reorganization
