The employees are the only thing that helps deal with terrible management.

Cons

Management is the absolute worst! They talk to the employees like they’re the scum of the earth. None of them have any real sense on how to lead a store. Instead of providing updates on Personal Time, they instead will take the 40 hours (given after 6 months of work), but November and December are black out dates and no time came be taken off during these two months. Management will take the 40 hours of pay from you and act like it never happened. To have a manager without a backbone, who doesn’t speak up for the team, is ridiculous. The managers are completely incompetent and expect us to do the job of 3 people for only one hourly wage.

They're expectations are very high and they will not train you. Upper management only cares about promoting themselves, you are on your own if you need to learn something you haven't done before and the people under you aren't knowledgeable about your position so they can't coach you on it. As a company, they're pretty oblivious to the smaller stores. I didn't receive a visit from anyone above me until after I had been there over a year and then they wanted to hold me accountable for things I was not familiar with. You are supposed to treat your associates respectfully but upper management can harass and bully anyone they want without consequence.
