Pros

Sets expectations, holds teams accountable. Builds procedures for success and implements well. Rock It meetings, regular check ins, and clear corporate communication make daily operations easier. Team support is probably my favorite aspect - when a site is struggling, everyone is more than willing to lend a hand.

Cons

Bell has core markets. If you aren't in one of them, market growth can be a little challenging. But there are ways to overcome it. Don't let this be a reason to overlook this company!

Beautiful communities. Community environment within the company. Good communication within the company.

Cons

The COVID guidelines need to be reviewed. It is unacceptable to have employees touring all year and then penalize them with using their vacation time if they are exposed to the virus. We have worked all 2020 with no hazard pay. Unacceptable. Also, they constantly say they promote from within, but it is untrue. I have seen employees work in the same position for years, even after applying and showing interest. They lose a lot of employees that way. There is not a lot of room for growth. It makes you feel looked over, and uncared for as a smaller person in the company. Holidays suck, we work days after Christmas/thansgiving/ and new year, while many offices are closed or Skelton crew. It does not allow you much "family" time after working all year especially during a pandemic.

Regarding COVID, each associate is given COVID Pay if they are positive, exposed, or family exposed etc before any sick time or vacation time is required to be used. If you or someone you work with was not given this option please let us know so that can be corrected We are also happy to report that over 80 Community/Operations associates were promoted into new roles in 2020!
