Pros

Good team parties and events

Cons

Very High Turn Over Only 2 weeks vacation The 4-5 star positive reviews are by HR team or employees offered a $25 Amazon gift card. HR team is biased - never felt comfortable going to them with any issues. Can be good for recent college grads as your first job to add to resume, but not a place for long-term career growth. After a few months, you'll be looking elsewhere. If you're seeking more than a job, don't apply. It'll be a waste of your time. If you're deciding between this job and another, chose the other. Very disorganized. Seems like no one really knows what they were doing. Annual Performance Reviews non-existent. You'll never really know how you're doing. Bonuses are given due to favoritism not merit. You might be criticized for your work and then you'll ask for clear examples of how to improve or what you did wrong, and you'll be given no clarity. Training is offered but never implemented. You'll have a ton of ideas to share but they will not be used. It's a top down structure. Whatever management thinks is "trending" in the industry or what other similar companies are doing, is what will be implemented - not creative, out of the box thinking. Processes, company sales goals, and organizational structure change every month. New Vice Presidents and departments announced but no road map to success and efficiency. Favoritism is clearly displayed across the organization. You are not promoted based on your work, you're promoted if the CEO likes you or not. They will have you train a new hire of a lower title and then fire you to save money. But yet spend $500,000+ on company events.

Thank you for taking the time to share about your experience. We appreciate and value your input as an employee. To address a few of your concerns, our vacation time is given by Band level within the company and would increase with a team member’s growth path. I’m sorry you feel there may be a negative impact on other internal initiatives and encourage you to discuss the concerns with your manager, Executive leaders or HR so we can work together to find a solution. Our intention is to make Gensuite a great place to work and we are constantly improving our processes to accommodate our rapidly growing team. The HR team strongly encourages open communication therefore we do not incentivize our team members to write Glassdoor reviews rather than encourage them to share their honest feedback. We can only improve on your concerns if we are made aware of them. Thank you again for your insight as it helps us to make Gensuite a better company for everyone.

Pros

My experience is different than the negative reviewers - some truth, but seriously question some of their claims! Dedicated team; exponential opportunity for personal growth; company is growing even with attrition. Every job takes dedication - it's no different at Gensuite. Those reviewers who question overtime and working lunches apparently don't have deep working experience. Every job I've ever had required extra working hours - is it always fun to do? No! But the extra effort is rewarding personally and professionally. Our customers are very important to our team and are quick to recommend us to others or demand their new employer bring Gensuite to them. How many service providers get positive and consistent word of mouth recommendations - this one does! Very generous pay and bonuses! They have customers all over the global in almost every industry vertical! Most managers and leaders are awesome to work with!!

Cons

The company is growing, of course there is going to be turnover? Does a growing tree never shed leaves? Those who claim high turnover rate is calling a red herring in my opinion. It can be stressful - especially during end of year or when working with multiple projects. You will work on multiple projects at one time - is it hard? Yes, but they're still young and need all hands on deck. Public shaming - it has happened before, but I've noticed it being reduced or disappearing completely under their new structuring.
