Pros

Great place to start as an RN. Good staffing levels. Provides excellent care to poor and vulnerable adults. Chance to get valuable experience with ventilator patients. Diverse workplace. Supportive kind managers.

Cons

Low starting pay relative to hospitals. High turnover which is standard for nursing homes.

Pros

The residents and staff are wonderful. I loved everyone I worked with. I really can't think of any other pros.

Cons

Poor compensation. The person I reported to is not nice and doesn't represent the values of the health system at all.
