Fun, fast-growth company with great benefits
Pros
Benefit corporate culture is fun and creative, with lots of opportunities to interact with your coworkers (monthly mixers, occasional breakfasts, and other events) and great benefits and perks through the parent company (LVMH). There is a culture of working hard and playing hard, and with so many women in leadership positions, it can be a great place to be inspired and grow professionally. Management seemed to really listen to feedback, and I always felt I could go to someone if I was struggling with a project or a difficult situation.
Cons
In my department, there was little room for advancement. While I saw many of my peers in other departments moving forward, I was asked to take on greater degrees of responsibility as my skills increased without a title or pay increase. The larger company culture can sometimes be one of gossip and "cattiness," which can be a little trying. Technology was a consistent pain, with the company really lacking the tools they need to collaborate across departments or track data effectively, often meaning extra work in the form of duplicating reports to fit into the systems various departments have adopted to try to get what they need in the absence of a company-wide system. The rapid growth of the company also has the effect of making things sometimes feel a little disorganized or chaotic, with people relying on processes that were designed for a much smaller company. I expect that this will smooth out in the next few years.
