Pros

Good pay and tips depending on store location. If you like the products gratis is great. Awesome clients! If you are a hard worker there is growth potential.

Cons

Unfortunately you can not get a time off. I asked for the weekend of my wedding off, three months in advance, on a non black out week, and they wouldn't give it to me. They do not give breaks, our managers told all of the employees to not ask for them because we shouldn't need them. The store I worked at did not let us call in sick, there were multiple times I and my fellow employees had to come to work with fevers, vomiting, and infections, our manager told us to not get her sick and that she wasn't sympathetic. We were very over worked at this location, my manager would make my fellow employees and I take up to 8 clients at a time. One of the previous managers would make us clock out so we wouldn't get overtime and then would make us continue working. The company really pushes their products, this is a very pushy sales job to the point of making customers uncomfortable. Not only do you have to be pushy but the products are very poor quality and over priced. My fellow co workers were great, but management makes this job very hard. They will work you for all your worth.

Pros

The tips, they add up very quickly! The training on brows, it's a big thing for estheticians, and can help you build a clientele if your good at doing them. The pay is awesome, if you receive benefits, those are great as well. I love my team, they are hilarious and very fun to work with. Managment is very understandable. Working for benefit as an esthetician is fun, I think we all know that working at a salon/spa or a brow bar, retail will be a given required. That's how the spa or any places thrives. You can't be shy when working in this environment.

Cons

Standing all day, get good shoes.
