Pros

- you will meet some great people - employee discount - weekly pay

Cons

- super high turnover - management does nothing & gets rewarded while employees do all the hard work - hierarchy type of work place (if your in any supportive role you are seen as less than and treated as such - personal shopping team does whatever they want and do not follow store protocol at all (very condescending and blatantly racist) - they do not give you a clear cut job description so they can have you do whatever they want even if that is not a part of your role - pay is well below average compared to other companies (unless you’re in sales) - very blatant racism from management and sales associates - no real room for growth (you have to be in your role for a year in order to be promoted and the promotion isn’t guaranteed) - sales associates are very catty and fight over product in front of clients - management gets unlimited PTO while hourly employees have to earn vacation time - 2 personal days a year - expect to always have to come in at 10AM for product knowledge breakfasts (and if you’re an assistant you won’t be allowed to sit down and eat the breakfast only your sales person can) - HR is a joke! They only have two people who don’t even get back to you on your needs or just forget about you overall - asbestos in basement and also rats/roaches - once you start working here you may get stuck - they do not live up to their name everything is for show - cafeteria food is expensive and not good at all - little to no diversity in corporate roles - 4 interviews - they do not want workers they want slaves - management takes credit for all your hard work especially when brand CEOs stop by - they can and will try to write you up for the smallest things (like not saying hi to a manager) - no real training (if you’re a boutique assistant they make you train all the new hires) - all old software (registers are literally computers with 2000s keyboards) - management helps with nothing (you’d be better off asking a coordinator) - people who have been there for a long time get treated like kings and queens and apparently everyone else must kiss their feet - unqualified indivuals get placed in higher paying roles based on who like them (like we’re in high school) - no appreciation shown whatsoever The list can go on and on!
