Decent pay. The health insurance benefits are good. Close community. Easy to move up.

Cons

The differential is terrible. There is no extra pay for specialized jobs such ER or IR. This is a significant issue. Staffing can be terrible.

Large case-loads, primary RNs often never see their own patients,making it difficult to effectively case manage. Lots of charting at home for which you don't get paid.
