Pros

Easy going place to work, fun environment and usually have a lot of good people that work there. Friends are easy to come by and they allow a lot of flexibility.

Cons

There is a lot of things wrong just like any other company. Management sometimes has a tough time determining the difference between friends and employees.

Pros

Managers care about both the customer and the employees in a genuine way. There are plenty of opportunities to switch into different departments or even stores if you don't the part of Best Buy you get assigned to. Also, there are plenty of experts, particularly in the computer and geek squad departments, that can really help you learn and grow.

Cons

Since Circuit City has met its doom, Best Buy has become the last shrimp boat left in the lake. Therefore you can expect to work loooong hours and be asked to stay late often as the company begins to deal with the notion of now being the big fish in the small pond.
