One of my best jobs.

Pros

Good management, free breakfast in the mornings after the guests were done with it, good pay, especially for overtime, we were allowed to read a book or use phones or personal laptops, etc, if there were no guests and it was really slow.

Cons

Breaks had to be taken in the front lobby and if a guest needed help you had to help them, so if you were the only person working front desk often you wouldn't be able to take the full half hour without being interrupted (you also had to answer the phones too). Also there were some really shitty guests to deal with.

Pros

Steady job with good benefits and you know what to expect when walking in the door for work.

Cons

Medical is high deductible, don't think that is fair for those who don't go to the doctor on a regular basis or have a $1110 monthly prescription. The position was a bit over sold and told I would be doing things that I actually wasn't Turned out to be the same exact thing over and over, which for some people is great for other not so much.

Pros

It was fun meeting people who came in from all over the world. Some of the co workers were just awesome. Pretty building.

Cons

Time management and training was very weak. Under staffed, long hours with no breaks and rude remarks from some co workers. An atmosphere of chaos. Poor working conditions and leadership was lacking. It was nothing like the presentations in the Best Western videos.
