Pros
-Executive Leadership Team members are very transparent, approachable and personable and they are passionate about the industry. They encourage all employees to provide feedback on the company and actually use that feedback for positive changes in the way we operate--they value everyone's opinion whether you are entry or senior level.
-Company culture is encouraged, but not over the top/in your face. Employees enjoy getting to know each other through shared interest groups in Teams and there is an underlying shared culture of learning and improving ourselves both personally and professionally. These avenues are encouraged by the company as they truly want to keep their employees happy to drive productivity but also because they care about us as people, especially in these trying 'covid times'.
-Speaking of covid times, the company has responded amazingly to these times. We were already able to work fully remotely, from a technology standpoint, so the transition to having all employees be remote was smooth. Employees are encouraged to work remotely for now. Everyone is very understanding of personal issues that arise from working remotely--no big deal if your kid accidentally interrupts your call, or you need to deal with something at home--managers are more than willing to work with their employees to make sure there is a work/life balance.
-The vast majority of employees I have interacted with are highly intelligent team players who are passionate about the company's vision.
Cons
There can be some "growing pains" from such a rapidly growing company/industry but everyone does their best to work through these and iron out processes that might be causing these pains.
