You have to wear a lot hats (like any startup) and strategy is a little "fluid" but you won't find a better team or product.

The new executive management understands the nature of the industry and has consistently displayed an openness to feedback and change while still maintining a strong vision and plan for the future. Zero micro-managing from leadership. Endless opportunity to learn and grow and create. Inteliigent, competent team of professionals.

Cons

If you're not a self-starter or do not have the initiative/desire to create and adapt in a growing, changing industry then you may have a difficult time. You'll get out what you put in. We've gotten rid of the "frills" that most tech startups throw at their employees, replaced by better fiscal management and incentive structures. A "Pro" for me but potentially a "Con" if that's something you desire.

Pros

As the result of the recent changes- Big Squid is now much more focused, transparent and has a product that is headed in a great direction. Co-workers are great to work with (and hangout with) and the company is small enough that any employee can have real influence.

Cons

The company is small, but ambitious- so trying to balance vision and execution is a challenge.
