Too many friends or family members link to the right hand of the owner. At anytime they contact their family and blind side management. The ones with the most influence tend to be the worst employees who work the least & get favoritism. If you aren't loved by the hourly it could be the end of you, they really have too much power where even senior management is afraid to operate at times as they should. The top engineers have too much control, if the team sees an opportunity to improve an identified issue it should not be stopped politically just because a person in another plant doesn't want to put in the work since they created the out dated system and are too busy on other projects in other plants.

Culture is stuck in the 70s. Terrible management. Management counsel is a joke. No growth at all. You bring up issues and no one cares to listen. You do amazing work and it never gets noticed at all. You won’t be able to take your time off without having issues. They don’t care about your disabilities and will reprimand you for taking time off because of illness. HR is a joke they don’t care about the employees they are just there to collect a check and make employees look bad if they leave.
