Company has a great reputation CEO and parents interact with all employees Management will roll up sleeves to help if an employee needs help Flexible work schedules Nice open door with all management levels Employees feel valued. Most stay to retire Special occasions recognized (birthdays, work anniversary, retirement) Friendly, casual environment Company is dedicated to supporting communities Employees can participate in tea tastings Everyone has a voice Nice bonus payout Good Benefits Employee Events - Annual picnic, Holiday Luncheon, Community Road Race Departments work good together

Cons

Slow to change in some areas Workers can be difficult Too much complaining instead of doing the work. Not enough training programs

Pros

Work hours - as a salaried employee you are only required to work 37.5hr/week and you have some flexibility to come in early (7:30/8am) and leave relatively early (4pm) or a typical 9am-5pm. Company is family owned and small enough that you will interact with all levels entry - VP's. Bigelow offers tuition reimbursement.

Cons

Limited room for growth. Manager level is very hit or miss, some are internal hires that generally know a lot, but may not be the best at managing people/projects/teams. Other managers are hired from outside and are practically useless.

No growth unless mechanical or engineer background. If someone retires or leaves the company.
