Pros

Great experience, entry level, lenient

Cons

Unsafe work conditions, they take advantage of you, they can low ball you if you don’t stand up for yourself. They can also see you a replaceable EASILY so don’t work here too long. They laid off a TON of people last summer, me being one of them. They do scummy things. Also, don’t work for Microbiology (manager is crazy) and Cancer Cytogenetics bc the manager is cheap and will micromanage everything you do, and one girl in particular is a weirdo.

Pros

I have personally learned a lot since I started working here and further training is available to anyone who is willing to pout in the effort. Managers mostly keep to themselves, but are very supportive and available when needed. The industry is high stress, but they do a good job here of keeping things mellow. You have to work hard to keep your job but people accept that and get on with things. The culture of the company is very good – people are nice and we all get along outside of work too. The people are great, very hard-working and friendly. The company has grown a lot in the last year, and my I’ve seen this growth reflected in my paycheck. Those who work the hardest and put in the most effort on a consistent basis are rewarded for their efforts.

Cons

We need to hire people who fit better with the culture so there’s less turnover.
