Pros
I currently work for Birch. I was a CBeyond employee prior to the acquisition. I think a lot of negativity can be generated from any acquisition and isn't necessarily attributable to factual information, but to fear of change. Personally, I have weekly interactions with C-level Executives and Directors. Some are by far my favorite people to work with. To note, Paul Guzman (Director, I.T. Infrastructure) (legacy Birch), is probably one of the most personable, professional, and hardest working individuals I have ever met and always has a smile on his face. Many groups within the organization still maintain a fantastic synergy. I believe that every opportunity is what you make of it and though the integration has taken some time, I believe it to be a positive one for the company as a whole.
