Amazing before being acquired by Idera

Pros

(Before being acquired) - Great engineering culture, no harm in exploring different solutions. - Good compensation - Work life balance definitely emphasized (Even won a Great place to work award) - Office pantry was amazing, free drinks + snacks + ice cream

Cons

Mass layoffs after acquisition, in both US and SG offices. The offices was just a business cost they can cut, so they removed it and all of the support staff. What great culture we had before will be completely gone. Not really angry, just sad how capitalism works.

Good Pantry. Lots of free flow food and drinks.

Cons

Company does not possess quality mental health awareness/treatment. Myself and another colleague I know resigned because of being overworked and poor mental health treatment. Upon the exit interview, I mentioned my reason for resigning as that I wanted to take care of my mental health and HR did not seem concerned or caring towards it. While these may be isolated cases and perhaps is a small sample size, I feel that even one case is far too many.
