Pros
- Some very talented coworkers - Not a lot of pressure to keep to work estimates/good work life balance - Salary, while below market, is still pretty good
Cons
- The vibe is pretty dull. It didn’t feel like there were more than a couple people in HR at any given time while I was there, and there were no personnel dedicated to working on culture. Few to No activities, super quiet offices. No startup energy. Most people couldn’t tell you what the company values are; that kind of thing. - Generally very disorganized company given its size. No training around interviewing (and very little recruiting effort as far as I could tell); few to no project requirements; nothing that ships feels close to done and then you move on to the next thing. - A fair amount of tech debt in the legacy monorepo.
