Pros

1. Job Location (Pune is a good place to stay) 2. Start your career at Bitwise (Recommended to freshers) 3. Good opportunities to learn (Learning is due to Work Pressure, if you are a Developer) 4. Salary hiking's will not make you leave Bitwise 5. You can get your H1 visa(if you are in good touch with your Manager, including you have spent more than 3 years in Bitwise) 6. No Bench culture (Immediately allocated to any of the projects, rather your skills are relevant or irrelevant) 7. One more good thing, or the best thing is the colleagues are really good.

Cons

1. Middle Management (TLs, PLs and PMs) is inexperienced (got the role due to favoritism), technically weak, do not follow WORK FLOOR Ethics, not good at treating the team members(specially 2. Middle Management will take all the credit for the SUCCESS and push everything on the developer for the encountered ISSUES (could be the miscommunication done by the TLs and PLs as well). 3. Senior Management will only listen to Middle Management, they won't bother talking or listening to the core team members, developers etc. 4. Too much of favoritism and internal politics, to push you back if you are gaining good hands on the project and the client (All the TLs are involved in this business, rather helping or team management) 5. Forced to work on the fake identities 6. Your Technology/Skills are not relevant, but you will be forced to work on other technologies as involved in the project 7. Complete WORK-LIFE imbalance, if you are a developer 8. Old and out dated technologies are used across all the projects 9. Too many restrictions (camera phones internet is highly restricted), in context to the data security policies, but only applicable to the staff/developer level. Management is free from all the restrictions. 10. The hardware used is obsolete and doesn't meet the project requirements. 11. No work from home facility, you don't have email access also, pushing you in the stone age. 12. PMs (few) are not qualified enough to take the management ( IMMATURE BEHAVIOR WITH TEAM) 13. TLs and PLs are not assigned with work, they will sit ideal for the whole day and keep on pressurizing the developers. 14. You can not expect solutions from the PLs or TLs, they are not efficient and technically weak to help the team.

Pros

1) Good exposure given to freshers. Get to work immediately on live projects after training. 2) 6 monthly appraisal 3) Good onsite opportunities (after 3 years)

Cons

1) Very less compensation offered initially to the freshers as compared to the other companies. 2) Late working hours(Depends on the project) 3) Office politics(Mostly at a higher level and not at a developer level) 4) Growth is very stagnant. Will get good learning opportunities till max 2-2.5 years. After that, work is monotonous. 5) Once you become a senior in this company(like after 2.5 years), you will not be given any work. Though this is good in one way(work-life balance), if you are looking to switch in the future/looking for a career growth, you will not be knowing enough that an experienced resource should. 6) Favoritism to the employees who are the pets of the managers. 7) Many a times, work is not appreciated and you will feel under valued. 8) Facilities provided are very average(You call yourselves as one of the emerging firms but yet to provide pick and drop) Conclusion: Average firm. If you are having some other offer with a better compensation, go for that. If not, then stay for max 2 years and leave for better opportunities.

Pros

1. Six months appraisal (But it will depend on your coordination with your Senior not directly on performance) 2. Good team mates 3. Less internal politics

Cons

1. Minimum 8 hrs floor time, even time to bathroom is not counted(Although they don't strictly enforce this rule, but you will feel the pressure from time to time). 2. If your project is bad (Unfortunately I was in one) your doomed, Your dependency will keep on increasing and it will be difficult to get other project 3. NO CAMERA PHONES! 4. Very restrictive internet access, even Gmail is blocked 5. Some seniors are worst, they will make your day to day life miserable. 6. Very age old technologies, they don't even consider upgrading it too. 7. Average or below average work life balance
