Awesome colleagues, lack of growth opportunities, excuses of why compensation is low,
Pros
The people. You do truly work among an extremely passionate group of individuals that want to innovate and build the coolest products out there. The work culture is awesome, everyone is into super rad hobbies and very active. Neil Fiske, the new CEO so far seems great and is someone that seems to truly care about everyone and is willing to listen.
Cons
Very little room for career growth. Management seems to think the reason why the company doesn't reach it's goals is because we don't have enough managers and meetings. Teams are stretched super thin and additional personnel aren't hired to help offload the work. Every excuse in the book is used as to why raises or bonuses don't happen meanwhile upper management wastes money away on travel, industry events, electric car chargers, etc. Favoritism is also a big issue among both product categories and certain individuals. If you're "bros" with the right people I'm sure it's great. As a male employee I'm not affected but I have seen situations where women aren't taken as seriously as men with the same titles.
