Was a Good Company when Synopsys was managing but it is owned by a Private Equity now
Pros
1. Provide more opportunities to employees to use AI in their daily tasks to improve the productivity 2. Challenging work environment and latest tech stack is being used by most of the products so there is lot of learning opportunities 3. It was a very good company with lot of employee benefits like RSU, ESPP, Interest free loans, Company Car Purchase program, Gratuity for 3 year etc But last year during October 2024, company was sold to Private equity and then all of these benefits are lost 4. Synopsys used to pay more than 100% variable pay every year but now we do not get 90% also
Cons
1. Company expects employees to put long hours for very minimal annual hikes. 2. Even when employees get promoted very minimal hikes are paid 3. Also we do get our variable pay in full due to private equity 4. There is a lot of work pressure 5. Due to Synopsys moving out the customers are also not extending the contracts for the products 6. Work Culture looks like a startup now as the company is trying to establish itself after Synopsys moved out 7. Lot of attrition is going on as most of the talented old employees are moving out of the company due to missing benefits which Synopsys was providing 8. During transition from Synopsys to Blackduck lot of false commitments were made by the CEO on compensating the lost RSU but nothing happened
