Pros

There are some good people here doing good work. They have passion for what they do. The underlying technology is good. There are people who really believe in the product.

Cons

There is no product leadership. There are people contributing to a hostile work environment, and there is no management responsibility. Way too many people leaving such a small company.

great product, toxic leadership

Pros

Fun to work in sports tech. Great office and lab.

Cons

Culture is toxic to engineering and salespeople. Middle and upper management is out of touch. Would rather win in the courtroom than the marketplace. Nothing ever gets done. Priorities are all wrong. Losing all the best people who can't take it anymore.

Pros

Very cool "game changing" technology with solid baseline product. Pro athletes are all over the current solutions for baseball and golf with proof of success. Product work well and are highly accurate. Strong company team across functional groups with many ex pro athletes on the sales team.

Cons

It's a mid-stage startup. Not for everyone. If you want an experience without the need for personal investment and commitment, without the challenges of uncertainty of cutting edge technology, without the search for finding solutions that will resonate with the masses, and the occasional pains of a growing a company culture, stay away. If you want to change the world of sports, and can handle the risk/reward equation of a startup, you will find the work at Blast Motion rewarding.
