Great company, changing culture

Pros

BEI had always treated me in a fair and ethical way. Their pay structure was terrific, time off outstanding, and company benefits terrific. Work load not terrible, but long hours in remote places. Employees easy to work with and managers fair and understanding.

Cons

Annual meeting in Minneapolis is a waste with most everyone getting stupid drunk. The culture has changed from a family run business to a multi-cultural and diverse company competing on the world market place. Individuals get left behind in order for the globalist attitude. Group think is the key.

Getting to travel around the country and get paid per diem and have housing costs and vehicle costs covered.

Cons

Extremely long hours that could have been avoided if there was just more coordination on projects.
