Presence of empathic, skilled individuals

Cons

Exodus of the intelligent and self-motivated was continuous. Benefits were degraded on annual basis. Lower/middle management was "re-organized" every 5 years during the better times. During challenges, management was given to whomever applied without regard to experience nor skills.

Ok - Wouldn’t Go Back

Pros

Staff level genuinely works hard to meet needs of patients. ICARE standards are a great concept.

Cons

Bad health insurance unless you live in QUINCY and can go to the hospital for everything. Management is out of touch with workforce and needs (moral, workload, staffing, skillset, etc.) Work environment was mostly not positive, and ICARE is not on all levels of the organization.
