Pros

LLS was a good stepping stone into the work force. You could get accustomed to office life, dress code, meetings, etc. Very mission centric giving a lot of appreciation back to the patients, donors and volunteers! Creating a long lasting relationship with patients, donors and volunteers was very easy and incredibly rewarding in the long term. Dr. Lou, CEO is sensational!

Cons

No work life balance, terrible management on a local level. Very little to no appreciate given to the staff in office.

Pros

Great mission. Work with co-workers and volunteers that are passionate about the mission.

Cons

Leadership at the local level is disorganized. Frequently work nights and weekends. No human resources at local chapter so it is difficult if there is a problem with another employee or your boss.
