Strong mission, run like a business

Pros

Resources; field staff; branding; volunteers; runs like a business; strong eye on bottom line

Cons

Like many national non profits there's a strong disconnect between the field and the national office. Decisions are made as directives to chapters vs. a collaborative effort. There's obvious dysfunction at the ELT level, including bullying, which has been reported to HR a number of times but clearly ignored for way too long.

Pros

Mission, CEO, national office always there to support. They’ve really improved employee trainings and support over the past two years. I feel passionate, knowledgeable, and supported in my role. I also have advanced pretty quickly! Love LLS.

Cons

Direct management. Smaller offices around the country seem to be ignored.
