Great Supervisors!

Pros

The admin staff are kind and communicative. The scheduling coordinator prioritizes finding cases that align with my availability and a great distance from home. Pay is great with annual raises after performance reviews.

Cons

It's different experience coming from a clinic where your clinical supervisor is always present, however the BCBA is usually always available to answer questions.

Amazing Company

Pros

I love this company, I've been employed with them for almost 2 years and have felt nothing but appreciated my entire employment. From my BCBAs to everyone behind the scenes including office staff to even those higher up, everyone is one team. There is no shortage of people to reach out to for help or clarification. I also love that even being there as long as I have I am still able to learn and grow in my job. Every feedback is only to help our clients succeed. I truly do enjoy this job more than any other job I've worked. Its so accommodating and family oriented. All the employees count on each other to keep everything running smoothly and that shows with every interaction from a video call, email to in person contact. No matter how small a problem or question you are always backed up and given exact information. Training still continues throughout employment and feedback is the most helpful to continue to do your job at the best of your ability. I would recommend anyone looking for a rewarding employment opportunity to look at Blue Gems!

Cons

Hours are varied due to clients need, which is something that you can adjust easily but may be after the traditional 8-5 hours of normal jobs.

Supportive clinical team, but administrative processes need improvement

Pros

Strong and consistent support from BCBAs. Positive and collaborative work environment. Clinical team is approachable and willing to help RBTs. Good learning experience in the ABA field.

Cons

Administrative issues related to tracking work hours and PTO balances. Lack of paid breaks, even during long or extended shifts. RBTs often cannot take short breaks without ending sessions early. Health insurance options are expensive compared to the coverage offered. Limited or unclear opportunities for salary growth.
