Pros

Managers generally have a strong technical background which makes it much easier to communicate with them. Exciting work. The right leaders are being promoted. Individuals have a lot of freedom.

Cons

Company is transitioning from a fulltime research and development company to doing both R&D and production. The old timers didn't fully anticipate what that means and never planned for the company getting larger. But it's getting better overall with all the new talent. Some people need to be more proactive in not burning themselves out.
