When I first started it was exciting and there was a lot of hiring and cool projects to work on. Then things started to not be so great. Someone was put into a management type position as a level 2 with no previous experience and a very condescending attitude. The manager also made it impossible to hire the people that we needed due to a standard that nobody could meet. Then came the launch, and while everyone was in great spirits they laid off 1500 people via email. People were also denied their bonus as management made sure to use the "inconsistent" rating. This place has become negative and nothing like what it used to be a couple years ago.

The CEO is an absolute piece of trash that values management over technicians, laid off 10% of the company over zoom and although they say you’re re-hireable, you’re not.

There are a lot of senior-level (Director and up) folks who just joined early and have stayed because I honestly think they wouldn't be able to get a similar position elsewhere. They have no business being there. A lot of them don't even have prior experience in their supposed field of expertise. It's shocking how badly run things are because of this. There are talk about cost cuts everywhere, yet, there are some folks who are literally paying for their commute using company funds. For example, someone would be listed as Seattle-based, but actually don't live in Seattle. And they just bill the company to fly to Seattle whenever they like. Ridiculous!
