Pros

Other then my coworkers there aren’t any.

Cons

Horrible pay and supervisor(s) and management act like oversized toddlers or like they are back in jr. high. Being asked by a supervisor if your can go your personal social media accounts and look up your other coworkers just so said supervisor can see what they are up to is not ok. Especially while I’m on the clock and working. I once read a review that said Blue Shield’s motto for how they treat their employees should be “expect more pay less” and that is so very true. To say that you will be over worked and under paid is a understatement. I now see why Blue Shield gets sued by their current/fast employees.

Pros

Genuinely nice people who are boots on the ground.

Cons

Old school from leadership to management. Too many chiefs who want to manage the way theyve always managed, but have heads that are too easily turned by shiny objects. That could be a technology platform that can't scale or a marketing leader bringing outdated ideas from a flyover state.

Pros

You couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with. In my 10+ years, I never woke up not wanting to go to work and I enjoyed the work that I did. The pay and benefits are good (unfortunately the pension was eliminated for people under 40).

Cons

Though the work was enjoyable, we did work hard. The normal work week was 45-55 hours and sometimes that included weekends. However, our hard work was always recognized.
